October was a jam packed month for PORTE-COCHÈRE! After WestEdge we headed to High Point for Fall Market where we supported our current members who were at the show, connected with some fabulous new interior designers and product brands, and saw some wonderful designs!
Here are a few of our favorite moments & finds!
EF + LM Factory Tour – we LOVE seeing furniture being created and this was a fabulous show of craftsmanship!
Never can get enough gold leaf! So majestic!
Saturday began with P`C brand member Dynasty Gallery‘s ribbon cutting for their new showroom in High Point – a beautiful space!
After a long day of walking we kicked off our first day at the new design magazine Milieu‘s launch party at the fabulous Verellen showroom! A gorgeous event! And if you haven’t heard of Milieu yet be sure to check it out. It was founded by Pamela Pierce an interior designer from Texas and the first edition was wonderful!
Through a small opening in the back of Verellen we discovered Texture Imports – a massive showroom full with amazing finds! PORTE-COCHÈRE co-founder Ann fell in love with these horses.
Baker Furniture‘s showroom is always a favorite of ours and this market the new collection by Jacques Garcia was filled with some beautiful designs – my personal favorite is this very trendy sling back chair in leather and hand forged iron!
As usual the Luna Bella booth caught our attention – full with sensational delights like this intriguing side table and gorgeous drop pendant lights!
We were delighted to stumble across the exquisitely designed vintage lighting by Louise Gaskill Company! Louise refashions vintage lighting parts and glass into unique new creations – a true artist at work!
Stay tuned for our upcoming post on one of our most intriguing finds at High Point – innovative design, education, and trends out of Poland!
